RING 1: JUMPING CLASSES – COMMENCING 9.45am

JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL

All Jumping classes are run according to BSJA rules.

The same combination of rider & mount can only compete in 2 of the 3 standard classes. i.e.; Novice & Intermediate but not Open

Entrants not eligible for Equitation classes on day of show.

Judged on the ability of child to present the pony unaided in-hand. Entrants will be required to lead pony at trot for the judge.

Class 39           Lead Rein Showing (FA/USOC)

Judged on the overall picture of the rider and pony and the pony’s confirmation and suitability to be a lead rein pony. 

Class 40           Lead Rein Equitation (FA/USOC)

Judged 100% on the rider.  Taking into consideration the age of the child and their ability to ride.

Class 41           1st Ridden (FA/USOC)

RING 5: PERFORMANCE WORKING HUNTER
SHOW CLASSES – COMMENCE AT 1pm after warm-up class

Working Hunter Classes
Phase 1: judged over course of jumps 50% jumping, 10% style & manners.
 
Phase 2: 30% confirmation, freedom of action & 10% manners. Working Mountain & Moorland and Cobs compete on an equal basis. Number declaration required before each class. 11am Start

The same combination of rider & mount can only compete in 2 of the 3 standard classes. i.e.; Novice & Intermediate but not Open

Working Hunter Warm-Up (12 to 1pm)
Open to all. £2.50 per round – each clear round receives a rosette.
