Please see below details of a Richard Maxwell clinic at Doncaster. I had him out to a filly of mine and he worked wonders. Plus its all stuff you can replicate at home.

How to realise your dreams, whatever your dreams are
And get to know your horse on a personal and work level.
SCOTLAND - INGLISTON – 1ST & 2ND MAY 2010 (10am – 4.30pm)
DONCASTER -MOORHOUSE E C –22nd & 23rd May 2010 (10am – 4.30pm)
Lateral control from the ground and from the saddle, why it is important and how it helps in all areas of your horsemanship from getting your horse to come to the mounting block to, loading, showing, hacking, jumping, dressage etc
In my day to day travels I have the pleasure of working with horses and owners from all walks of life, hobby horse owners to top horses and all that goes between....each horse has its own problems but what brings them all together is the process that I now use to help horses and owners move forward.
It is all based around lateral control, being able to control all four feet in all directions...............this creates a forward thinking horse, in hand and when ridden.
The in-hand work will tell you so much about your horse, what he finds easy and what he finds difficult, it will enlighten you on the problem areas within your schooling, and give you an efficient way to deal with it.
